Today I have 2 items for sale, actually 3! I have 2 spoon rests available. 1 in speckled egg, and 1 in mouse. I also have 1 in Robin's Egg, but no picture of that color shown in this post.

The cake plate measures a little over 8" across the top and 4" in height. It is $26 plus shipping.

A White Morning

*It has finally snowed!*.....all be it, a whopping 3 inches or so. Ah, who cares, atleast it's white. I here there is more on the way, but not near the accumulation we are waiting for! ;)

It is so pretty and fresh in the morning.

Well, as I posted earlier this week,I took my Christmas decorations down before everyone went back to school. I really don't have many snowmen that I keep out, so the only things that remain out yet, are the greens outside. So yesterday after looking at this door ALL WEEK, I finally realized something....

What's wrong with this picture? Ok, other than I really need to clean my windows, and tidy things up a bit?.......

I forgot to take down our sleigh bell wreath that JINGLES QUITE LOUDLY ANY TIME THAT DOOR IS OPEN AND WE'VE BEEN IN AND OUT OF THERE 100'S OF TIMES SINCE I TOOK EVERYTHING DOWN! Duh....I always forget to pack something away. :)


On another note.....I need some help from all you great followers of my blog. I would like to do an inspirational blog post next week, and I am looking for photos of something that has inspired you out there in blog land. A certain project, a certain photograph, some beautiful display picture that you couldn't get out of your head....please send them to me. I DO however need permission to later post these pictures!
It can be something you made, or a trash to treasure re-do, or a certain display that you set up that you are so proud of. Please send them to me and I will share them later next week. Send them to: miller5@epix.net

Wooly Wednesday Is Back!

Happy Wooly Wednesday everyone! I finally have a little, tiny wool project that I just LOVE, to share with you today. I can't promise a Wooly Wednesday every week, but I will certainly shoot for once a month! ;)


So, here they are without further delay:



You've seen me share a quick pic of these most precious little acorns before, but I just had to share them again. I know these are a little late in the season as far as thinking of fall, but I plan on keeping these little guys out all year long.


It starts with making a whole bunch of these made from wool roving.....





and then you add a whole lot of these:

Selling Pottery Online!

Hello friends! As you can see from the title of my post, we here at Indian Trail Pottery are going to be trying out a new thing.....selling our pottery to you online!
We are just getting our feet wet here a little bit and I will randomly select pieces and offer them here on THE POTTERY SHED blog, but if all goes well, then I will create a very own special selling blog.
We are quite excited to start this, in the hopes that our love of pottery making will be shared with others throughout the states and maybe even beyond. We enjoy what we do and it is a great passion, especially for my husband, since he is currently making all of it....but guess what....I might even have a few pieces to offer some day! ;)
We are a very, TEENY TINY, SMALL business located in a tiny town in Central Pennsylvania. Our pottery is all made here at our home from start to finish. It is made, molded, and cared for by our hands only.
Over the past few years we have learned to truely appreciate the small businesses and true "handmades", and our hope is that you enjoy them as much as we do.

And with that said.....I have our very first piece for you today!

It is a round bowl in Robin's Egg. The outside of the bowl is more matte with brown specs galore (hence the name Robin's egg), and the inside is more of a shiny blue-green. A very popular color...A BEAUTIFUL SPRING COLOR! :)





It measures 8 3/4" wide across the top, and it is approx. 4" in height. This bowl is $28, plus shipping. I wrap our pieces really well, but I do recommend shipping insurance. Our pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.

Well, the decorations are pretty much down and packed away for next year with the exception of our fresh greens outside. We leave them up until late, late winter. The house does look a little different and bare, especially where I had our 11 foot tree. It will only take a few days though for it to seem back to normal to me.


I promised I would share what Santa so generously gave to me this Christmas....

Yep, a Keurig coffee machine! Oh, there has been some wonderful coffee come out of there already....I can't wait to try all the flavors and some iced teas!


And this, which will fit in perfectly with my new coffee station....


A vintage french bottle rack that I can hang all my pottery mugs from! I certainly need to have Mr. Potter make me more so I can fill that baby up. It holds quite a lot of mugs, and my kids wanted to hang a few of their favorite mugs on there too for their daily cup of hot cocoa from the keurig.


After I took down all the Christmas decorations, I was left with a bare harvest table....I needed a new centerpiece idea. I love the look of my old silvery mercury glass ornament balls with a white porcelin plate, but it still looked too plain...
I found the solution at my in-laws house.....she had this little tree that I just fell in love with, and it smelled fantastic too!......What is it?
It's a rosemary tree! A little rub of the greens and the smell of rosemary fills the air. The plate and ornies look a little wintry, with a touch of spring from the tree....





It was a wonderful Christmas, and we had a great week off. It's so quiet once again in the house with everyone back to school. But, I have lots of projects and crafts to tackle throughout this winter....plenty to keep me busy.
